Incase anyone wants to know some novel differences:
1) Mellie just left and put the divorce paper back into the draw. He didnt see her name signed until over a Month? later.
2) When Mellie went missing, he didn’t allow her to be published as missing UNTIL he saw her name signed on the divorce papers
3) Leading up to the day Mellie went missing, Edric was thinking about the ways he can spend his time with and love Mellie
4) It was revealled that the reason he called her bothersome when she asked if he loved her was because he kept having to deal with Tabloids posting rumours about their impending divorce and she interrupted him (not that its a good reason)
5) He went to Mellie’s ‘bestfriend’ first, NOT this guy. This dude was like an afterthought
