I know I might be the only one but I am glad Phil is annulling her engagement. She has more important matters on her mind than love-drama and does not think it’s right to lead on a friend who as she was told has genuine romantic feelings towards her. You go gurl! Honest Queen, I stan it! She doesn’t seem too interested in figuring out her love life before she feels safe and secure in her own life/mind. Physical and mental well-being first, love second. That’s one quality of the emporer I kind of respect. Even though he’s protective, he initially didn’t let her annul it knowing she will regret it, but in the end he still respected her decision and didn’t force her to stay in it.
He’s just pushy about her not leaving the palace without making it clear to her and everyone in the kingdom that it’s okay she’s not biologically his and letting his crappy blood daughter walk all over them like a tyrant.
