my only thought is, if he wants to rly have a future with her, he has to show his true face. Even if she liked him, that would be the mask he wears. Cutting out this relationship as it was is the best choice, it would hurt them both if kept like this

Yeah this IS kind of a red flag there he IS trying to be good for her but in the end It Just mean that he IS hiding his true self, things like this IS the reason why a Lot of relationships end with 3 months and when It Last longer It end with a huge fight later

Someone didn’t get the “No means no” talk as a kid… Haha, anyway, I am starting to dislike Nasar, it’s not okay to force your feelings onto someone who is clearly uncomfortable and has rejected them already. Not all is allowed in love and war, buddy, that’s why we have the Geneva Convention. I get that he is young but it makes me so uneasy when a lovesick male protagonist does the incel thing where after being rejected he just continues his pursuit because the female lead just ‘needs convincing’ to give him what he wants. I know Phil and Nasar are meant to be so this is supposed to be romantic but I just wish this was less about convincing her tho be HIS and more about supporting her without expectation of a romantic relationship as a reward. Not that I don’t like a flawed love interest but Nasar, honey, flower, baby boy, you’re making her uncomfortable and demanding what she isn’t currently willing to give3, pls bb just back offff for now 🙁

I think it’s good they annul it until they figure out their true feelings first. The were forced to maintain it like an invisible barrier for political reasons since they were kids, now that they don’t have that stress they can realize what they’re missing while it’s gone. Then get together for the real intention of marriage: love. ❤️
