If my understanding is correct, by “weakness of the sect,” so far is that big burly guy in the warehouse. And the merchant actually hired that big guy, to attack the merchant himself, who has also brought the sect ppl, to make the sect members fail and bring down the volcanic sect reputation when it’s already all time low, and in other areas as well. That merchant is just acting innocent to destroy volcanic sect for some reason it seems.
