If that f*cker was supposed to maintain a neutral stance, that means that f*cker went out of his way to insult her that day. He probably went looking for her just to say that nonsense.
I don’t care if later it turns out to be some brainwashing thing. His actions are still sh*tty. That doesn’t change.
Also why is MC f*cking making excuses for him? This is the problem with this kind of writing. They never hold male characters accountable for their sh*tty actions. And this kind of writing also overly condemns female characters.
I guess I’ll see how the story unfolds.
