It’s meaningless to her ex, but it seems to have helped the gossip about her being crazy and obsessed, which was part of the reason she wanted to do it anyway. But yeah, I agree she needs to speak up.

So the whole pretending to date situation is meaningless because this MFer still keeps showing up anyway. Now here she is starting to emotionally spiral because of some dude again. She goes from being able to tell her ex to piss off to being passive when some random chick shows up and she refuses to address it. If he actually has a girlfriend while playing pretend with you, he’s trash like your ex but we know that’s not the case. Uhhhhhh
