   I have logged into my old, decrepit account because I need people to understand why I love this manhwa so much:

   Yes, it’s a rofan manhwa, but I think there’s something so special about the way that it frames war. There is often a trope of how a character haunts the narrative without ever appearing in the story, and for this start that character is the war itself. The characters are scarred from it (sometimes literally, like Anna) or emotionally (like Bertram). There is no character that is untouched by the horrors and pain of this conflict, and yet. The villagers are kind and optimistic, albeit some of them with a rougher edge and are slower to trust. The most prevailing trait I can think of to describe these characters is that they are kind. They take in a man they know nothing about despite their experiences with men of his status, and even try to help him when they think he’s in danger even when they know the risks.

   I love this story. I love these characters. Every chapter makes me smile because of, and a lot of manhwas are missing this, the inherent humanity behind the screen. This is a great manhwa, give it a read!

   kinda gives similar energy to Edward Scissorhands with the fl being bright and caring and ml trying to connecf but not understanding human emotions. so far its pretty good

    Very well drawn, every supporting character has…well, character! No one feels like a copy of someone else. If the art was even a little less than it is, you’d lose half the humor. FL is silly (and naive because she lives in a small town) but she’s not stupid! Her responses feel natural for her personality. ML is…. well, he’s got a story and I’m interested to read and find out what it is. As of chapter 10, A+ comic!
